I want to share with you what I enjoy, and items that you should think about splurging on. Below are 3 of my top picks that I use that make my health and fitness goals easier, tastier and enjoyable.

Teddie’s Peanut Butter

Teddies peanut butter - Top Picks

Teddies peanut butter is one of my favorite’s out on the market and one of my top picks for March. It’s easily accessible and you can find in most stores like Walmart, Stop & Shop, Shaws etc. Teddies have many versions such as super chunky unsalted (my favorite), super chunky, smooth, smooth unsalted, chunky with flax seeds, smooth with flax seeds and organic natural chunky. Peanut butter is a staple for many, and I love adding a tablespoon to my oatmeal or on an unsalted rice cake. The serving size is 2 tablespoons, which is much more than you think when measuring out, and most pack around 7-8 grams of protein. The approximate nutritional value includes (depending on version)  7 carbohydrates, 0-100 mg of sodium, 16g of fat, and approximately 190 calories.

Teddies is a family owned company and has been around since 1925, and founded by Michael Hintlian. He emigrated from Armenia and settled in Boston where he started producing candy and mixed nuts. Once the depression hit they started to produce peanut butter as a cheaper alternative for protein.

Rivalwhey - Top Picks

Having a great why protein is very important when trying to add large amounts of fast digesting protein to your diet. Not going to lie, I purchased Rivalwhey since it was on sale at my local vitamin/health store and I am so happy I did. I was a little skeptical to try it at first since I am pretty picky with taste. Rivalwhey’s taste is great and this is why its one of my top picks! Chocolate is my favorite, and you can easily mix with water and the taste is rich. Chocolate Rivalwhey is also great to mix into recipes, for example, protein pancakes or to your oatmeal.  I have also tried vanilla, and I would saw its one of my top 2 vanillas.  Each serving contains 24 grams of protein, 1gram of sugar, 2 carbohydrates, and 110 calories.
