Best Baked Chicken
There are so many ways you can cook chicken, and I discovered the easiest and juiciest way to create the best baked chicken. Chicken is an amazing source of protein, and sometimes finding the perfect way to cook it can be difficult. Eating 3 grams of chicken fuels your body with 21 grams of protein.
This is a fast, simple, and great way to meal prep for the week, cook for the family, or if you’re entertaining for the day. Saving time is so helpful, and this only takes 22-25 minutes to cook.
Eating lean protein is very important in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Chicken is packed with protein, vitamins, minerals and is low in fat and calories making chicken a great staple for the kitchen. Another benefit of eating chicken is it will help maintain a healthy lifestyle to maintain and loose weight.
I have mastered the best way to bake chicken in my opinion, and since chicken is my main source of protein this feat has made meal prep so much easier.
-Chicken Breasts (3lbs)
-Spices of Your Choice
-Take your chicken breast, and place them in salt water submerged for around 4 hours (add about 1 tablespoon of salt into the water)
-Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
-Take the chicken breast and pat them dry. Pound your chicken breast for even cooking. If your chicken is large pieces, make sure to cut them in half.
-On a baking sheet, spray with nonstick spray.
-Evenly place your chicken on the tray. Lightly spread olive oil on the top of your chicken. Add desired spices to the top (I personally cook it plain, and then add my spices/sauces when I prep my food).
– Bake for 18-22 minutes, depending on your size of the chicken and your oven.
-Cut into your chicken and make sure it’s cooked all the way through. Once you have reached that, set your oven to broil for about 2-3 minutes to brown up your chicken.
-Remove from the oven, and ENJOY !!
